Food preservation in jars is an simple method to avoid your food getting spoild. This method is used for warm food, like sauces, jams, cooked veggies, beans, etc.

  1. Make sure you have clean, cleaned-out jars and a clean workspace.
  2. Pour (or scoop) the jars full of the freshly prepared food
  3. Clean the edges (with vinegar)
  4. Put the lid on the jar
  5. Turn the jar upside down to cool
  6. The jar is airtight when you can no longer push the lid down
  7. Make sure to mark the jars with both the content and the date
